Riding motorcycle is one of the popular hobbies in the world. It will be more prestige if it’s riding the fastest motorcycle in the world. Basically fastest motorcycle is created for the adrenaline reason. It’s so exciting for some people to speed up their motorcycle and feel the wind blow fast against their body. But not all people have the same idea about that. Riding fast motorcycle need some skill and of course body protection. For all of us, let’s just take a look at these fastest motorcycles in the world. 1. Dodge Tomahawk: 350 mph (560 km/h) This Dodge Tomahawk motorcycle is using 10-cylinder 90-degree V-type. It can run 350 mph (560 km/h) on its top speed. It can run on that speed because of the total power of 500 horsepower (370 kW) @ 5600 rpm (45 kW/L). This motorcycle is using 2 speed manual transmission.



2. Suzuki Hayabusa: 248 mph (397 km/h) This Suzuki manufactured motorcycle is using 1340 cc (82 cu in), 4-stroke, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 16-valve engine. Top speed that can be reached is 248 mph (397 km/h) with total power of 197 horsepower (147 kW) @ 6750 rpm 147kW. Transmission system is
using 6 speed with constant mesh.

 

3. MTT Turbine Superbike Y2K: 227 mph (365 km/h) This superbike can run 227 mph (365 km/h) with the Rolls-Royce 250-C20 turbo shaft. The top speed reached is supported with total of 320 horsepower (239 kw) @ 52,000 rpm. Transmission used is quite simple with just 2 speed automatic transmission.




4. Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird: 190 mph (310 km/h) Honda as leading motorcycle manufacture is releasing this motorcycle. It’s using 1137cc liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder that can make this motorcycle reached 190 mph (310 km/h) in top speed. The top speed of this motorcycle is supported with the 114 kw (153 hp) @ 10,000 rpm power. Transmission use is close-ratio 6-speed transmission.

 

5. Yamaha YZF R1: 186 mph (297 km/h) This motorcycle is coming from Japan. It’s manufactured by Yamaha. The engine used is Forward Inclined Parallel 4-cylinder, 20 valves, DOHC, liquid-cooled. This motorcycle can reach top speed of 186 mph (297 km/h). While on top speed, it can produce 128.2 horsepower (95.6 kW) at 10000 rpm. The transmissions system is using constant mesh 6 speed.



6. MV Agusta F4 1000 R: 176 mph (299 km/h) This MV Augusta manufatured motorcycle is using liquid cooled, inline, 4 cylinder, DOHC, 16 radial valves. Top speed that can be reached is 176 mph (299 km/h). Power that produced by this motorcycle is 174 horsepower (128 Kw). Transmission of the motorcycle is using multi-disc wet clutch on 6 speed cassette gearbox.



7. Kawasaki Ninja ZX-11/ZZ-R1100: 176 mph (283 km/h) This Kawasaki manufactured motorcycle is using 1052 cc 4-stroke, 4-cylinder, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine. This motorcycle can reach top speed of 176 mph (283 km/h). The power that can be produced is 108 kW (147 PS) @ 10,500 rpm. This motorcycle is using 6 speed transmission as well.



8. Aprilia RSV 1000R Mille: 175 mph (278 km/h) This Aprilia manufactured motorcycle is using 998 cc 60 degree V-twin engine. The top speed can be reached is 175 mph (278 km/h). This motorcycle can produce 105.24 kW (143.09 PS; 141.13 hp) @ 10000 rpm of power. The transmission system is using 6 speed chain drive.
